Label Specifications
Labels play a critical role in the successful manufacturing and marketing of products, as well as in compliance with Federal regulations.
Design, Printing, Inventory
All labeling materials—labels, stickers, hang tags, sensor tags, etc.—are to be supplied by the customer.
Need Assistance? The Pacific Nutritional Inc. sales team can answer many of your questions, and refer you to both experienced graphic designers in branding, supplement facts panels, packaging & label design, and experienced printers in label production.
We can also assist you with managing label inventory and ordering.
Compliance
Customers are responsible for providing labels that comply with all regulations. We suggest that you have your labels reviewed by legal counsel.
Amount
Please include enough labels for the number of bottles ordered, plus an additional 10% to cover losses during labeling.
Pressure Sensitive Labels
- We require a #4 rewind (see graphic).
- Spacing between labels on the roll should be a minimum of 1/8 inch and a maximum of 1⁄4 inch.
- We prefer a non-u.v.-coated area on the label for imprinting the expiration date and lot number. Minimum size for this area is 1⁄4” x 1 1⁄4”. This may appear vertically or horizontally on the label.
