We’ve made it easy to get started! When you contact us, we will take your product through all phases of development, testing, manufacturing, packaging and shipping. We are aware of packaging trends in the industry and can assist you in finding the right packaging solutions, including bottle size and appearance.
Our Step-by-Step Guidelines – We have found that you need to address these items before we can begin the manufacturing process:
1. Formula & Batch Size
- Determine the ingredients for your product. Need assistance? We have a great deal of experience formulating products and can help you fine-tune your ingredients during the development phase, after you contact us.
- Determine the approximate size of your order. Larger batch runs provide larger savings when it comes to finished product testing expenses. We recommend a standard minimum run sizes of 300,000 capsules or tablets, or larger for best manufacturing savings.
- Although our minimum batch runs are flexible, they are determined on a per product basis and will need to be discussed with your PNI Sales Executive.
2. Create Your Labels
- Your labels should be designed by a graphic designer who is familiar with FDA regulations.
- They should also be reviewed by an attorney who is thoroughly versed in dietary supplement labeling laws.
- Our Label Specifications page can provide some further assistance.
3. Coordinate & Plan Ahead, Save Money, and Avoid Problems
- Early in your process, make sure that your technical, marketing, and sales departments work together to ensure that your plans for the product are thought through thoroughly.
- Make sure we know all your plans as early as possible in our process.
- Fewer surprises = More savings for you. Be certain about what testing you’d like done before we’ve finished formulating (ask us, if you aren’t sure), make sure your labels meet absolutely every FDA requirement before printing (submit a mockup to us beforehand to be certain), and, in general, communicate all your needs to us.
